Alchemy: Turning Thought into Art
A community art project at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center (MAC) that took place on April 15, 2017. It was conceived artist Dwight Wigley and sponsored by Dwight and Joanne Wigley. The student curators of the UCM Art Gallery assisted Prof. Wang of the Global Arts Studies Program in promoting and organizing the event that attracted local community members to paint 108 canvases, and many more to partake in the creative festivities at the MAC.
